General Rules

18+ Members Only: Due to the mature themes in Valtheris, all members must be 18 years or older. No exceptions.

Respect & Conduct:

• Keep all drama in character. Out-of-character (OOC) drama will not be tolerated.
• Maintain a respectful and supportive tone in all interactions.
• Use clean language in public chats, and keep abusive or offensive language to a minimum.
• We ask that all persons join the absence group here. If you're going to be away for a period of time it should be documented in the group. 
• If you experience any issues, report them directly to an admin. We are here to help.

Private Scenes:

• Intimate or sexual RP scenes should be conducted in private spaces, such as comments or inbox messages, to respect members’ comfort levels.
• Explicit content should not be publicly posted.

Character Creation Rules

Single-Character Pages Only:

• Each member may create one character page at a time.
• To create additional characters, your current character must be active (e.g., participating in RPs, engaging with the world). Admin approval is required for second or additional characters.
• This policy ensures every character enriches the world of Valtheris.

Face Claims & Species:

• All face claims must be registered to avoid duplication.
• A character’s face claim will only be held if the character is active. Inactivity may result in the face claim being released.
• Once you choose your species, reach out to the leader of that species to let them know and you will receive your badge. 

Group Pages

Limited Group Pages:

• The only group pages allowed are those who were created before the change over of the site.
• Group pages must have a clear purpose and be regularly active.
• Every member of each group should ALL have active threads before adding more.
• Groups are allowed 3 blogs only.
• Each group page can start with a maximum of 6 characters. 
• Groups using the site theme for roleplays should register each face claim. Fandoms won't need to register. 

Roleplay Rules

Forum-Only RP:

• All roleplay must take place in the forums. This helps admins monitor participation and keeps the world of Valtheris alive.
• Chats and other tools can be used for plotting, but all in-character interactions must be posted on the forums.

Activity Requirements:

• To maintain an active and engaging community, activity checks will be conducted every two months.
• Members who fail to participate or check in during this time will be contacted, and their characters or face claims may be released if no response is received.
