Location: Eboncrest Citadel – The Grand Ballroom
The heart of Blackfrost Dominion, beneath the light of the Moon.

The bells of Eboncrest tolled deep and solemn, a sound that rolled across the frozen tundras, through the Veilwood, and beyond to the farthest corners of Lycanthro Vale.

Tonight, the Citadel stood reborn: its vast stone halls awash in the silver sheen of moonlight, draped in banners bearing the crest of Blackfrost... a wolf crowned by a circlet of stars. Ice crystals glimmered like scattered diamonds along the towering pillars, and the air thrummed with ancient magic, old as the Vale itself.

Before the assembled wolves, gathered from every corner of the realm ... Alphas, Betas, Elders, warriors, healers, and those unmated yet seeking their destined half...  Thorian Thalric stood tall atop the marble dais, the True Alpha's presence undeniable, his frostfire eyes aglow.

A hush fell over the gathering as he raised his hand.

"Hear me, wolves of Lycanthro Vale," his voice rumbled, carrying through the vastness of the Grand Ballroom, laced with power that stirred the very marrow of those present.

"We are scattered no more. Tonight, under the blessing of the Moon, we stand united... not as five divided packs, but as one people."

His gaze swept the room... proud and solemn.

"Darkness rises beyond our borders. Enemies whisper in the winds, seeking to fracture our strength, to tear down what the Goddess herself has built. But we shall not break. We shall dance in defiance. We shall forge bonds that no claw nor curse can sever."

A pause. One filled with reverence.

"Before we begin, I ask you now... let us hold a moment of silence."

The chamber grew still.

"In honor of those lost…Of the valiant, fallen Nightshade Pack, whose lands have grown quiet but whose spirits shall never fade. May their memory guide us, and may their sacrifices bind us more tightly together."

The moment passed like breath on frost. And then...

"From the ashes of that devastation, the Moon has shown me a gift. A light in the dark. A soul destined to stand beside mine."

With deliberate grace, Thorian extended his hand, palm open, and turned toward her... not as a King to a subject, but as a mate to his equal.

"It is my great honor to present to the Vale her new Luna... Queen Emmeral, once of Nightshade, now of Blackfrost and Luna of Frostclaw. My fated. My heart. My strength."

He waited, offering her the moment... to join him, to be seen not just by him, but by all.

"Let the realm see what fate has wrought. And let none doubt the Moon’s will."

The moment swelled with magic, heavy and sacred.

And then, his voice rang out, full and commanding: "Let the Moonlit Unity Ball begin."

Music surged... deep drums and lilting flutes... and the great doors of the Citadel swung wide, flooding the ballroom with wolves from every walk of life.

The future had arrived.

The Moon watches all… and fate waits for no one.

Alicia looked at Reyes smiling slightly as he mentioned her having attention "well who's fault is that? I was happy hiding in the corners until someboody chose to make a scene" she laughed softly as she sipped her wine looking around the room eyeing the people that were watching her curiously "they all want to know who has taken Dante's attention.

She froze when Reyes spoke, looking towards the entrance as she saw the familiar figure. It took all of her self control not to rush over to him. Though she quickly began weaving through the crowd knowing Reyes would be close behind her. She didn't care who she was knocking into this time, all she cared about was getting to her mate.

Once she was in front of him she quickly wrapped her arms around him, inhaling his scent "you are back" her voice was barely a whisper as she helf onto him, scared that letting go would make him disappear. She finally pulled back just enough to look up at him, she could smell the blood coming off him "you got hurt?" there was worry in her eyes as she reached up placing her hand on his cheek, her voice was low so that only the two of them could hear it.

She finally pulled away from him noticing all eyes were on them she slipped back into the cold front she had been putting on the entire night "and here I thought I'd be suffering through this event alone" she smirked a little linking her arm with his "you missed quite the scene earlier, I almost had to put Sybil in her place before the king and queen got involved" she looked up at him curiously "we wouldn't want anyone thinking your pack doesn't know how to behave in public"

The moment he stepped into the ballroom, Dante felt it. Eyes. Dozens of them. Watching, whispering, weighing every detail. But he didn’t care. Because the only gaze that mattered... the only one he felt like a tether wrapped around his chest... was hers. He hadn’t even made it ten full strides before Alicia was in front of him, weaving through the crowd like nothing else existed. His breath caught in his throat, sharp and grounding, as she collided into his arms.

He held her like a man coming up for air, wrapping both arms tightly around her and burying his face into her hair. Her scent hit him like a blow... wild and familiar and maddeningly sweet. Home. For the first time in weeks, his wolf stilled, settling beneath his skin like it, too, had found what it had been searching for.

When she pulled back and touched his cheek, his jaw clenched... partly at the tenderness, partly at the wound she was no doubt scenting. “It’s nothing,” he said lowly, brushing a kiss against her forehead. “You’re what matters.” But the injury still throbbed beneath the surface, a reminder of what it had cost him to get back here.

He didn’t miss the shift when she slipped back into her composed mask, the Luna she was becoming. It almost made him smile. Almost. “Suffering without me?” he said, lips twitching as she took his arm. “You’ll make me feel guilty.” Then came the name that pulled his wolf out of its calm. Sybil.

He looked to Reyes as Alicia spoke, and his second offered a brief nod. “She caused a scene. Tried to unmask her,” Reyes muttered under his breath. “I shut it down. She’s being watched.”

Dante’s eyes went cold. His gaze swept the room like a blade, and though his mask hid most of his expression, the intensity in his posture was enough to send a few nearby wolves looking elsewhere. “That’s the last time she crosses a line,” he said flatly. “She’s been warned more than once. Tonight, she sees the consequences.” His grip on Alicia’s hand tightened... protective, unwavering. He leaned close enough that only she would hear him. “She won’t be your problem after tonight. I promise you that.”

Alicia rolled her eyes as he claimed his injury was fine, she could tell it was a lie but knew better than to press him about it when they were being watched. She walked by his side smirking slightly "hey you are the one that insisted I had to make a public appearance without you, so I call that suffering" she looks up at him smiling slightly.

She watched his reaction to the incident with Sybil and laughed softly "don't worry love, it's been handled for now, anything else we can deal with away from the party" she looked at him holding his hand gently "for now you just have to play the part of charming alpha until the party is over"

She knew better than to make a scene. They had already drawn plenty of attention with the chaos Sybil created. She looked over at Reyes and smiled "and anyway you had the best looking after me" her hand rested on Dante's arm gently. She didn't want to let go of him as if he would disappear from beside her. She looked around the room noticing some of the guests were still watching them, though some were rightfully seeming nervous now that Dante was more on edge.

She smiled taking a glass of wine from one of the servers and holding it out to him "and once we are home I will need you to tell me everything that happened, including how you got hurt" she looked at him her eyes making it clear that there was no room for arguments. She would find out just how bad his injury was even if she had to force it out of him.

She smiled and kissed his cheek gently "I am glad you are back though, as lovely as Reyes's company is he is no replacement for my Alpha" she placed her hand on his cheek looking up at him "I don't know what I would have done if I lost you"
